Cold gas injector test bench (CGI test bench)

For the functional development of the control system for a prototype hydrogen direct injector, we have set up a component test bench for injectors at the CSC. The test bench can be operated variably with nitrogen, helium, or hydrogen. The control functions and test bench automation are controlled by a PROtroniC Topline. In order to detect the injector's reactions to the control signals, both the current and voltage across the injector as well as the needle stroke and speed are measured in high resolution and fully automatically (for more information click here).
