Projects - Overview

The Chair of Carbon Sources and Conversion is working on various projects, which are mainly financed by public funding programs, but also in cooperation with various industrial partners.

Below you will find an overview of the projects currently being worked on as well as projects that have already been completed.

Current publicly funded research projects

  • SynGas2EtheneProduction of ethene from recycling streams and renewable carbon sources as a sustainable and economical route to basic building blocks for the chemical industry
  • RekCarb/ RekCarb2Upgrading of carbon-containing residual materials and carbon-based by-products through recrystallization in molten metals
  • CO2BioFeed -  Keeping hydrocarbons in circulation
  • ECO2Feed -  Upgrading CO2-rich gas streams of biogenic origin into valuable substances for the chemical industry through seperation of harmful hydrogen sulphide
  • ElektrALig -  New ways of electricity-based conversion of biogenic raw materials and electrochemical production of bio-based products
