300 mL High-Pressure Reactor

For the investigation of liquid-phase chemical processes under defined pressure and temperature conditions, a 300 mL high-pressure reactor is available at the Chair of Carbon Sources and Conversion. The system is designed for demanding operating regimes and is capable of handling pressures up to 200 bar and temperatures between –10 and 350 °C. The reactor vessel and sealing components are engineered for safe operation under high mechanical and thermal loads, enabling the use of reactive gases such as H₂. Precise control of the reaction conditions is achieved by an electronic controller operating a dual thermal system, consisting of an electric heating mantle for reaching the target temperature and a water-cooling circuit for rapid cooling and temperature stabilisation. Reactants can also be introduced via a dedicated sample addition device, allowing experiments to be carried out under pre-established conditions, for example for kinetic studies. This setup enables detailed investigation and optimisation of liquid-phase processes under gas pressure and provides a robust and flexible platform for catalytic studies and process development (More infromation you can find under InnoHLig and ElektrALig).
